About

A. The Chapter is organized and will be operated exclusively for educational and scientific
purposes to promote the following:
1. An increased knowledge of and greater interest in the science, design, development, construction, languages, management and applications of modern computing.
2. Greater interest in computing and its applications.
3. A means of communication among people having an interest in computing.
4. Publication of Mapúa students’ research works/programs to popular computing magazines, journals and websites.
5. A facility for students in need of further development and mastery of computing skills by providing materials and activities that will help them hone their computing and leadership skills.
6. A venue for computer enthusiast to express and share their talents and skills.
B. The Chapter will serve students at Mapúa Institute of Technology, School of Information Technology and other interested persons in the Metro Manila community.
C. The Chapter is chartered by the ACM.
